How do we benefit?
The most prominent methods of remuneration are CPA (Cost per Action) or PPS (Pay per Sale), PPS being a slight variation of CPA. It compensates the publisher based on sales made to or actions taken by visitors. Compensation in this model is based on the actions taken by said visitor. For example, a referral that leads to the completion of a survey or the submission of personal information would be worth less than an action that leads to a sale. Compensation is also influenced by the value of the product of services being offered. Advertisers enjoy this model as it encourages quality leads with a high ratio of success.
Other methods of remuneration are CPM (Cost per Mile/thousand) or CPC (Cost per Click). Cost per click models lead to lower payouts due to the large percentage of clicks that do not lead to sales. CPM compensates per thousand views. Although these methods are less prominent in today’s marketing world, they are still popular in burgeoning markets overseas.
